PHIL RYAN BAND

Since his time as lead singer for The Animals on their 1992 World Tour that culminated in a record breaking headline appearance before a 100,000 strong audience in Red Square. Moscow, Phil Ryan has gone on to become an artist in his own right performing in countless venues across Europe.

Having played with such diverse artists as Southside Johnny, Miquel Brown, Johnny Guitar and Gina Mackey his last album "Storm Warning" featured Hill Briggs, Mick Groom and Germany’s own Professor Rock (Klaus Brunner) and his original songs have been described as poetry in soul and rock with heartbreak and hellfire thrown in!

His many concert appearances include performances at leading venues in London, Stockholm, Norway, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Berlin, Munich, Nuremberg (recording work in both England and Germany) He has headlined at the world famous Nuremberg Music Festival - The Bardentreffen and at the Slachthof in Munich in 2001/2002 and has played packed festivals in London, Munich, Pullach and Weiden.

2004/5 saw him preparing a new album Heart Of the Storm as well as headline concert performances in France, Germany, and at a new Festival launch at SpydaFest in Dorset, England. And in London he recently took part in the world class Regents Park Premier Live music programme! Right now he’s in rehearsals with his London band of top session musicians Enrico Moreno, Sean Hargreaves, Simon Horn and Mick Smith.

With a rock and soul sound that let’s loose a voice like a razor dipped in honey no audience can be failed to be moved by his passion. The ultimate festival performer he sets the crowd alight. One man, one voice, one band, and one amazing experience. To simply quote Time Out and the Nuremberg Festival news. Do not miss him!
